This weekend I spent supporting my daughter in her new business endeavor Spiritual Ingredients. On Saturday we went to the commercial kitchen she rents and made 1000 cakepops

We didn't have to decorate them all like this - they were plain. 500 chocolate and 500 vanilla. But still....it took us about 12 hours to bake them and dip them all! On Sunday we were at the Vancouver Urban Wedding Show and the pops were a big hit! Our booth was full of brides and grooms and mothers and sisters! They all seemed to talk at once and by the time we got home our voices were gone! So hopefully all that popularity will translate into some bookings for Alex.

Today is a day to catch up on a weekend's worth of work left over from last week. It's almost 7 pm now and the pile of paperwork has finally diminished to the point I can watch DWTStars!
