NEURODIVERSITY (AuDHD, ADHD, etc.)
Your brain is a little different than the norm. And that’s okay. In fact, it’s better than okay.
It’s you, -- and you are great. Your neurodiversity is your superpower.
But you may have been told differently. Because you struggle.
As a student, you can’t seem to stop speaking out in class, or stay in your seat. You are easily distracted, disorganized, and unable to keep up with your assignments -- if you remember that you have assignments.
As an adult, you may be just a little too impulsive and/or emotional, or have difficulty planning, executing, and completing projects. Sustained focus and/or task initiation may be a struggle for you.

But good news. According to CHADD, studies show that individuals in ADHD coaching “…engage in more positive thoughts and behaviors such as taking responsibility for their actions, using goal-attainment skills, etc." They also reported improved study skills and learning strategies such as time management, effective ways to improve concentration, increased self-awareness, self-esteem, and satisfaction with school and work.”

So give yourself a little grace.
